Bangladesh (Moham)made five changes to the eleven that
last played the Indians – Najmul Hasan Shanto, Litton Das, Mahmudullah, Mahedi
Hasan, and Taskin Ahmed made way for Saif Hasan, Jaker Ali (who was leading the
team, and elected to field), Shamim Ahmed, Nasum Ahmed, and Saifuddin.
The first Powerplay of India’s innings – which was the
mandatory Powerplay – was between the first and the sixth over. They scored 72,
without the loss of a wicket.
India’s openers put on 50 off five overs (30 balls).
Pakistan had conceded an extra at that point. While the contribution of
Abhishek, the player of the (Shar)match, to the partnership was 30, Shubman
